I found this also on DeviantART. It is such an eye catching piece, so powerful,

simple and bold.  I suspect this piece has been influenced by many original WW1 propaganda art.  The assets that strike me most are the war planes and how they have been set the same colour as the Big Ben clock tower. This may resemble destruction and darkness over London by other threats.  Also the way the sky has a set colour of red and yellow makes a fiery effect. Also the sky's main focus comes from behind Big ben or perhaps from it itself.  The soldier

 It instantly caught my eye as it shows strong colours with a black outline which gives a rough but controlled affect. Materials used to create tis poster were sketchbook paper, pencil, and PhotoShop CS2. I really like how this was produced by drawing a rough sketch and enhancing the colours through software. The message 'I Want YOU' makes the message very personal to the viewer, therefore very affective.  Both messages pursue to do something, to join an army, whether thats the U.S army or to buy more comics.
