Here is my finished app for iPhone. This is the start up screen for my app. In this I have a moving cloud/sky background throughout with 3 scrolls at the bottom listed settings, start and achievements. The orientation for my app is landscape because if it was portrait then there wouldn't be enough room to navigate the cannon across the screen.
Above here is the 2nd part of my app just saying the aim of the game. This information is displayed within my scroll I made, continuing with my theme.
This is the next one. Again I have used the scroll to display the content. It says tilt your device to control your cannon and double tap to fire. For interactivity, I have an iPhone moving left and right continuously to demonstrate this.
As I have included a camera icon on my scroll, I have mentioned why I have done this. If you collect every bottle on a level then you have the option to scan your bar code on your own bottle of Captain Morgans. This will enable hidden content such as cannon upgrades and real life prizes. The prizes can range from a cash prize and tickets to different events.
Here is the actual game being displayed. You control the cannon as I've said before by tilting your device left and right. This enables you to get in-line for a good shot. On this screenshot the red sight is aimed at a pirate ship. As you collect the stolen Captain Morgan bottles the bottles fling upwards to the sky and the amount you collect is displayed in numbers as you hit them. On the top right is where you can view how many bottles you've collected that level. On the bottom right is where the bottle meter fills up. Once you have have started collected the bottles, the meter fills up accordingly.
After this then the number of bottles are displayed, again in the scroll. The numbers go up according to how many you collected and the bottle rotates at the same time.
Here is my camera feature. I have the Captain Morgan tittle that I adapted at the top like I have with the scrolls to retain the brand identity.
On this one the camera sights in the corner zoom outwards and the telescope in the centre disappears.
This is the only part that I was unsure on. The barcode flickers on this as If you have just captured it. However to some this isn't immediately obvious and people have to ask. This is something to think about. I was thinking of maybe putting a red line through the middle with different glow effects on AfterEffects.
