My colour choice is very basic as I said I want to be keeping it all very simple.  I wanted to keep it to primary and secondary colours.  And since I have been creating all of my work on illustrated and AfterAffects I have used Illustrator to help me.  Under the 'Swatches' panel you can choose which different type of colours you would like such as Landscape, kids, fun etc to get the colours you like. I did this and used landscape as I wanted my fairly organic and original.

Black
White
Yellow
